English: Ulysses, the mission to study the Sun’s poles and the influence of our star on surrounding space is coming to an end. After more than 17 years in space – almost four times its expected lifetime – the mission is finally succumbing to its harsh environment and is likely to finish sometime in the next month or two.
Portuguese: A sonda Ulisses, que tem a missão de estudar os pólos do Sol e a influência da nossa estrela no espaço em volta, está a morrer. Depois de mais de 17 anos no espaço - quase quatro vezes o seu tempo de vida esperado - a missão está finalmente sucumbindo ao seu duro ambiente e provavelmente irá morrer de causas naturais durante os próximos dois meses.
